The BSA Claims Service Flood Team enjoyed its visit on the Hill with Texas US Congressman Lloyd Doggett to discuss the 21st Century Flood Reform Act and other flood-related issues. We appreciate his time to discuss the FEMA/NFIP re-authorization. This is a topic of many panels and information sessions at the National Flood Conference this week in Washington DC. We back the act’s support of #FEMA and #NFIP“moonshots” to increase the number of Americans with flood insurance coverage, quickly assist people in rebuilding their lives after flooding, and make efforts to prevent and mitigate flooding devastation.
